METRORail weekend service interruption for Purple Line improvements

METRORail will modify its service for the Purple Line April 20-21 to make some improvements to the line.

The modified free bus service begins before 5 a.m. on Saturday, April 20 and ends after midnight on Sunday, April 21 with the two-way shuttle service running every 12 minutes between the Palm Center Transit Center to Eado/Stadium station.

METRO officials are urging patrons to allow for extra travel time per trip.

Signage and METRO personnel will be available to provide assistance. Riders can also text or call METRO’s Customer Service Center at 713-635-4000 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. if they have any questions or need trip planning information.
