Easter weekend and Astros’ home opener; Here’s how this week’s weather will look

HOUSTON – This week marks several major events, including the Houston Astros’ home opener on Thursday as well as Good Friday.

Next Sunday is also Easter.

Monday will be soggy, but everyday after that for the next week looks beautiful. Partly cloudy skies are forecasted for pretty much every day until next Monday when another storm system will begin to move into southeast Texas.

High temperatures for the week (KPRC 2)

Temperatures will be quite comfortable with highs in the 70s most of the week. Easter weekend will see temperatures climb into the low 80s.

Easter weekend looks to be a great one as well. Skies will be partly cloudy with high temperatures in the upper 70s on Friday. Temperatures will rise into the low 80s on Saturday and on Easter Sunday.

Astros’ home opener

If you are planning to head out to the Houston Astros’ home opener against the Yankees on Thursday, be prepared for a gorgeous day to be at the ballpark.

Temperatures will start out in the upper 60s for Street Fest before rising into the low to mid-70s for gametime. Skies will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny for the game.
