The Sugar Land Arts Fest, put on by the Sugar Land Cultural Arts Foundation is going on its third year. They are a non-profit that aims to empower communities, conserve cultural and artistic energy, and improve livelihoods through the arts.

For two days, a hundred artists of all mediums will display, share and sell their art. The festival will also include a live music stage with a variety of music performed by five different entertainers, a wine & beer garden, food trucks, and live mural painting. There will also be a kids’ zone with a face painter, art and wellness activities, and yoga.

Stacy Borgfeldt, co-chair for the event says the festival gets bigger and better every year. She’s excited about the forecast and hopes families come out and have fun!

A featured artist at the festival and one of the art selectors Debra Jan Hall is self-taught and says it doesn’t matter if people purchase her work or not; she gets excited to chat with them about her passion.
