Focus on self-care with these med spa and wellness treatments

HOUSTON – Town and Country Plastic Surgeons and Med Spa has built a legacy in the plastic surgery community, but what you might not realize is that their med spa is a one-stop-shop for all things aesthetic.

Houston Life’s Tessa Barrera takes a closer look at the services they offer patients.

Town and Country Med Spa expert injector, Jamie Poole says looking good and feeling good are important.

“I feel like Sculptra has really made a resurgence because it’s bio-stimulatory, you’re using your body’s work to basically stimulate collagen,” Poole said when asked about the latest and hottest injecting techniques.

Rebecca Perez gave us a rundown of some of the devices used at the Town and Country Med Spa.

“We offer Morpheus 8, which is micro-needling with radio frequency, so it’s for anybody who wants to look tone, tighten the skin, help reduce pores, help with scaring, help with fine lines and wrinkles.

Tessa tried out the Balancer Pro.

“We put you in, zip you up, it’s very comfortable, no down time, so what it does is lymphatic massage, which helps drain the body of any excess fluids and toxins,” Perez explained.

Town and Country Med Spa also offers cool sculpting, which is a non-invasive way to remove fat and transform the body.

Tamitha Mackey is an onsite nurse practitioner that specializes in weight loss, hormone therapy, vaginal rejuvenation, and hair restoration.

“I like to get labs to make sure there’s not nutritional deficiencies, or the thyroid or hormones look good and make sure there’s no other causes that could be causing the reason why they’re gaining or having trouble with their weight,” Mackey said.
