HOUSTON – Believe it or not, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo kicks off in exactly two weeks from today and that means the countdown is officially on!
And from bull riding to bar-b-que, to the biggest names in music, we are ready for 20 days of non-stop action.
EDM band Major Lazer will take the star stage for their first time on Friday March 8th, and we’re getting a little preview of what fans can expect from their big show.
Here’s a hint: it’s going to be a big dance party!
Fans may recognize their music from hits like ‘Lean On,’ ‘Cold Water,’ ‘Powerful’ and plenty others, and now the band is ready to bring the high energy to NRG Stadium.
Band members Diplo, Walshy Fire and Ape Drums make up the popular trio, and it turns out we’ve got a local connection to the band as Ape hails from Katy!
